Coastal Preferred Properties has been the trading name of this brokerage since 2008. It operates as a registered DBA of BLSH 20 Inc., a licensed California real estate corporation. The responsible broker is Ronald Scott Beutel, who holds a California broker’s licence — the senior of the two licence grades, requiring years of practice and additional examination beyond a salesperson’s licence.

Where we work

We cover Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties in full — Carmel-by-the-Sea, Pebble Beach, Carmel Valley, Big Sur, Monterey and Pacific Grove, the Santa Cruz coast and mountains, the Salinas Valley and the ranch country around Hollister.

We also follow the top of the market in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, because Peninsula and Silicon Valley buyers are frequently the same people looking at Carmel and Pebble Beach.

We think that is the honest way to run a brokerage website. You should be able to see everything that is for sale, decide what interests you, and then choose who represents you — rather than being shown a narrow slice and told it is the market.
